San Fransisco Botanical Gardens grounds

If you have never been to the San Francisco Botanical Gardens it is a must see. Especially for those who are lovers of flowers, gardeners, photographers or painters. Since I fall into all of those categories it was a real treat.

I was accompanying my parents to a doctor visit earlier in the morning. It was an absolutely beautiful day and we had a few hours to spare before our drive home, we chose to visit the botanical gardens. They are both lovers of flowers and gardeners, too. Mom has won many awards for her flower arrangements so I’m sure she was gathering all kinds of ideas.

I think I must have taken over 100 photos that day. The inspiration was endless. There were color combinations that were out of this world beautiful. I was looking at the challenge of painting these beauties and mixing paints to get just the right colors.
